Turning Tides:My Two Cents.

 A lot has been going on in my country. The political sphere is unstable and for this reason, there is a great conversation going around, and all points to the revolution that is happening.  One of the things that I have been following closely is the appointment of the cabinet secretaries.The conversation that intrigued me is being a nation that will have well-qualified professionals running the different ministries.

It is a time when our eyes are opening and we are finally realizing that the things that other countries have been able to achieve over the years are within reach. It only needs for each of us to do our due diligence and not agree to mediocrity.

It is also such a positive time for children in school who are told to work hard, and young professionals who just started their jobs and become someone in society. If we become a country where people can work on their craft, be diligent in it, and get to such places by merit,we will have a share of the cake. It moves from a country where only generations of a chosen few dominate but a country that pushes for equality of everyone and above all a country where education is respected and given a chance to drive the country. It may take time but it is already happening.
